Realtors to the Rescue
My husband and I had worked with Lauren and Keith last year when we bought our house in Atlanta. They were amazing so we asked them to sell my condo which I had bought 4 years ago at the peak of the market. The complex is large and still had over a third left to sell. Other owners like myself were trying to put their unit for resale which was difficult because the developer upgraded all the unsold units and put them for sale at very low prices. I was discouraged since very few units were selling. The condo was on the market for a couple months without any interest. We lowered the price slightly and had one person look at it. The realtor indicated to Lauren that her client was going to make an offer on another unit within the same complex because my unit did not have kitchen upgrades. Lauren took that opportunity to "court" that buyer. She explained to the realtor the perks of purchasing my unit over the other unit he was going to make an offer on. She is very persuasive and knows her business! The buyer then decided to make an offer on my unit. Keith was with me during the price negotiation process and always provided solid input based on careful research. He negotiated to have the closing moved up 6 weeks (which benefited me). After the closing there was an issue that was at the fault of the buyer's realtor. Keith defended my position until they acknowledged culpability.
